Bio
Dr. Lacey Finley is an Associate Professor of Management and School of Business Department Co-Chair at Park University in Parkville, Missouri. She has been with Park University for seven years. She teaches courses in business communication, business analytics, and organizational behavior/leadership. Additionally, she has the opportunity to oversee and contribute to assessment, curriculum development, and quality assurance initiatives throughout the academic year as the Quality Assurance and Assessment Coordinator for the College of Management.
Dr. Finley holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Kansas State University. She earned her bachelor's degree in Communication and her Master of Science degree in Business Education from Emporia State University, along with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
Her research interests include AI-based tools for instruction, design thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation education, assessment development, professional communication, and student/faculty engagement initiatives. She is a member of the National Business Education Association and the Council for Business Teaching and Research. Outside of her academic and research endeavors, Dr. Finley enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, cooking, exploring Kansas City, golfing, and playing Mahjong with friends.
