Suzanne Tiemann

Bio
Dr. Tiemann is the Chair and an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Park University. She is located at the Parkville, Missouri campus.
Dr. Tiemann received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and her Reading Specialist and Kindergarten Endorsement at Texas A&M University. She earned her Master’s and Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Culture Studies at the University of Houston.
Dr. Tiemann holds a teaching and school administration license in Texas, Missouri, Delaware, and Québec. In Québec, she led the World’s largest Space Day. It hosted over 2,000 children on an airfield. In the United States, she spent her career in Title 1 schools to help make a difference.
Dr. Tiemann has taught at Park University for 6 years and is based in the College of Education & Health Professions. Her research interests focus is on STEM education. She is a council member of the ACT board.
When not playing with her new puppy, Chrysanthemum, she loves gardening and traveling.
