    Scholarship Fellow

    Scholarship Fellows are selected & provided with support, resources, & mentoring to create a disciplinary or scholarship of teaching & learning (SoTL) manuscript for submission at the conclusion of one year. Pre-tenure, full-time faculty are selected via a competitive application process annually to support their tenure journey. Fellows share their experience with the Park community & meet regularly with external mentors to support their scholarly pursuits & expand their professional network.

  • Criteria

    • Attend the Scholarship Fellows Retreat and engage in regular coaching sessions with internal and external mentors.
    • Develop and submit a scholarly manuscript to a peer-reviewed publishing outlet.
    • Apply academic writing and time management strategies from the Scholarship Essentials modules into their practice.
    • Collaborate with an experienced mentor within the chosen field of their manuscript's topic who is external to the institution. Will meet with their mentor a minimum of once per timer (i.e. 4 sessions per academic year).
    • Will share a summation of the findings of their research with the larger Park community.
