AI is changing quickly—and with it come new opportunities, new questions, and plenty of gray areas. How do we set meaningful AI expectations in our courses? What do we do when students use AI in ways that compromise learning? Where might AI actually make our own work easier? And perhaps most importantly, how do we help students engage with AI thoughtfully and critically rather than simply accepting what it gives them? This conversation will bring faculty together to explore these questions, share the challenges we’re encountering, and learn from one another.
We’ll discuss promising practices, strategies already being used by Park instructors, and practical approaches for navigating AI while keeping learning, critical thinking, and human judgment at the center.
