We are teaching through unprecedented challenges in a volatile era, with so much outside of our control. But there is much that is still within our power, including our ability to create conditions for care and learning with our students, doubling down on our humanity, including but not limited to asynchronous learning environments.

In this interactive keynote, Karen will share her current framework for how to teach (and learn) in the AI era. Topics will include establishing a scope of practice, creating simple and sustainable systems for faculty and student success, and utilizing the community of inquiry (COI) model to humanize your classrooms. Please bring your own ideas, questions, lamentations, frustrations, and hopes for our shared future. Let's learn through this, together.
