About the Digital Learning Team
The DLT exists to support faculty and course developers to create and maintain high-quality online courses. See below for related resources.

Course Development
Collaborating with course developers to design and develop course content and assignments.

Multimedia Production
We can help create engaging multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and interactive learning modules.

Accessibility Support
We can help to ensure all learning materials are accessible to all students, including those with disabilities.
Course Development Overview
1Planning
Academic program leadership selects a faculty course developer and prepares foundational information (such as course learning outcomes, program goals for the development, etc.).
The faculty course developer submits a contract request, and Academic Affairs issues a contract
2Content Creation
The faculty course developer creates content while collaborating with academic program leadership and instructional designers.
- Weeks 1 & 2 – Big-picture course planning, meeting with DL team
- Week 5 – Mid-point review with DL team and College leadership (opportunity to amend or cancel contract if needed)
- Week 10 – all content due from the faculty course developer
3Course Review and Production
- Course review by DL team and academic program leadership; dialogue and collaboration with the faculty course developer to complete any necessary revisions
- Duplication of course content for the live term
- Dean's final review and payment of the faculty course developer
4Continuous Course Improvement
Faculty course developers continually enhance the course through the maintenance process, based on student and other faculty feedback.
Not sure what the ‘Maintenance Process’ is? Reach out to coursedevelopment@park.edu, and we will get you set up in the correct place for your college.
Compliance and Quality Review
Every time a course is developed, redeveloped, or undergoes ‘Heavy Maintenance’, our team conducts a Compliance and Quality Review.
This ensures we meet industry standards and remain functional and engaging.

Our team is here to partner with Course Developers to transform courses at Park University.
